Collin and Suzette Poetic love through chines connection

Picture of Collin and Suzette Poetic love through chines connection

Who would have thought that a Chinese block-making machine would bring two hearts together? Well, that’s exactly how it all started for Collin and Suzette.

Their first connection was purely business — they were both shipping machines from China and, as fate would have it, their equipment was scheduled to share the same container. Collin called Suzette to coordinate the logistics. However, his timing was less than perfect — he rang her just as she was climbing into bed.

Suzette, half-asleep and not one for small talk when tired, answered briskly: “I’m in bed. Call me back in the morning — before 6 p.m. Jamaican time.”

Collin was taken aback. He hesitated to call again, unsure why someone would be going to bed so early. What he didn’t realize was that Suzette worked in the UK, and when she was in Jamaica, her schedule meant she was up by 3 a.m. and in bed by early evening.

That awkward first call turned into more conversations, then laughter, shared goals, and slowly, love. From a container shipment to a lifetime commitment, their journey has been anything but ordinary — and that's what makes it so special.
